It can happen that the attachments fall off the shaft as they have in time become loose. In this case simply press the spring blades lightly together with a pair of pliers

I did this, though admittedly I used more force than required...how now can I loosen them...?

Shaft does not rotate motor workink

My Bamix stopped working--no shaft movement and loud motor noise (think disuse caused motor lubricant to thicken). Propped it upside down and put drops of quality machine oil at seam where narrow blade shaft enters larger shaft (in center of curved guard). Probably not necessary, but added a few drops where large shaft enters handle. Oil slowly seeps in. Attached a blade to manually turn for oil distribution. Did this periodically over several hrs. Turned on low speed and it gradually returned to full speed capacity.

My bamix attachments keep falling off, tried tightning them as per instruction book to no avail.

II had the same problem but I just kept adjusting it and make sure it fits into the notch, and it works. It a bit annoying, but persevere.
Best wishes

I can't remove the blade from my Bamix hand blender

Shaft should be free for rotation that is ok.
Blade will come off with determined force of pull make sure grasp blade with towel to prevent injury to the fingers.

Bamix hand mixer seems to be stuck

It says in the manual to soak it in very hot water for 10-20 minutes, then try again. This should free trapped food from the shaft

Blades

The blades pull straight off the shaft. If you look closely you will see a small notch on the blade that fits a tab on the shaft. This keeps the blade turning at the same speed as the shaft.

Anyway, pulling straight down on the blade should get it off. You might try boiling the tip in water to soften whatever gunk is holding it on. Be careful you don't burn your fingers when trying to pull off the blade after boiling it.
