Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook

1 Answer

Bluetooth Settings? I am attempting to connect my bluetooth-compatible cell phone and my bluetooth-compatible computer together, however, whenever I attempt to do so, The "Installing Bluetooth driver..." comes on and then asks me to plug in the bluetooth device and click OK button. I do not have a way to plug in my phone to the computer. What do I need to do to get these two to work together?

My LG KE500 wont send photos to other mobiles - can you help

This depends on how you are attempting to send the files.
If you're using a bluetooth connection, be sure that both phones have a compatable bluetooth driver installed and turned on. Try pairing the phones first through the bluetooth menu on both phones, and secure the connection with a pin code.

If you're attempting to use MMS to send the pictures, be sure that both your phone AND the receiver's phone have a valid MMS package set up with their carrier. Check your MMS settings on your phone as well, making sure to set it up correctly (refer to your user manual or call your carrier to assist you)

If you're still having an issue, call your carrier, they will help

How to Bluetooth Connect your Phone to your PC.

How do I connect my bluetooth phone with my computer? First you need to turn your phones visibility on. Most phones you do this by going into the menu, settings and they should be an option for "connections." Bluetooth will or should be under your connects, like I said this is for most phones. You need to first make sure your bluetooth is turned on. Next you need to turn on your bluetooth's visability.
As far as your computer goes. You either need a laptop/tower with bluetooth build in or a bluetooth USB adapter. You can generally get a bluetooth USB adapter for less than $30, and these are very useful and can be used with multiple phones, which is great about bluetooth.
After you have your bluetooth USB installed on your computer, then you need to sync them together. The easiest way that I have found to do this is to do it from the phone. Under your bluetooth settings under your phone, they should be an option to search for new devices or to pair it. Once your perform the search it should find your computer. Select to pair it with your computer. It will ask you for the passcode on the phone it should be "0000" that is four zeros. You should get a pop up from the system tray on a windows machine asking if you want to pair your bluetooth with this device. You need to tell it yes and it will *** for the passcode, which again is four zeros "0000." You should then be ready to use your bluetooth enabled phone with your computer.

MY NOKIA E72 CANNOT CONNECT WITH HEADSET

Have a cell phone that is Bluetooth compatible. You can check your cell phone to make sure that it is Bluetooth compatible by looking in the settings. There should be an option for Bluetooth listed. Click on it and ensure that it is set to "Allow other Bluetooth devices to find me."

I am not able to connect my bluetooth device with others n not able to share information with other via bluetooth

Hello

First ensure that your bluetooth is on and visible to everyone

When you want to send a file and scroll to "Send via Bluetooth" on your phone, your device list may come up empty. Sometimes this can be resolved by physically moving the devices closer together. The maximum distance between devices is 30 feet -- less if there is an obstacle blocking the signal.

check to see if the receiving device expects a security code before receiving transmissions. Some phones have security restrictions to prevent hacks.

Most Bluetooth-equipped devices come with a factory-set name. Change your device settings so that all your electronics have unique monikers. There are still some compatibility issues among Bluetooth devices, too. If you can send a file from your phone to your computer, odds are everything is working properly, but you have compatibility issues with the receiving device. Check the manufacturer's website for software updates for your phone, or visit a service center. But be careful: New phone software that updates the operating system can erase all your phone information.

I'm probably being really stupid but I can't work out how to download the photos I'be taken on my phone to my laptop. I've tried to bluetooth them but my laptop doesn't have bluetooth, and I'm stuggling...

Hi

  1. First you'll need to make sure your PC has a BlueTooth adapter, which will allow it to recognize other Bluetooth devices such as your phone. You can find a Bluetooth Data Suite27103elpdjh2558a9492436cb854 for under $30 that includes a Bluetooth adapter and software drivers for all phone types (the same one I use). It plugs into your usb port on your computer or laptop.
  2. Next you'll need to configure your phone's BlueTooth settings to make it visible to the Bluetooth Data Suite running on your computer. Open your phone and select the following menu options:
Settings --> Connection --> BlueTooth Link --> Setup --> Find Me
You'll be prompted to enter a unique passcode of your choosing (I used 1234 for example), and the Bluetooth Data Suite will pair with your cell phone... meaning they will be linked together and can start transmitting data files over a wireless Bluetooth connection.
You only need to pair your cell phone to your computer once. After that, your phone will be automatically recognized when you plug in the bluetooth adapter and have your phone within range.
  3. Once your computer and phone recognize each other, you can use the Bluetooth Data Suite to select photos from your phone and transfer them to your PC.
Thanks

to connect your samsung phone to a pc via bluetooth you need to follow the steps.
1. install your samsung pc suite NPS,
2. open your phone bluetooth.
>> go to menu, select bluetooth, select settings under bluetooth, make your phone bluetooth's visible,
3. go to your computer, open your bluetooth, right click the bluetooth icon on the system tray, they are grouped and can be located near the clock.
4. select settings for your computer's bluetooth, make it discoverable, check the discover services.
5. under the computer's bluetooth panel, you can see there add device, click add device.
6. once the computer search for your phone, pair them with passcode like 1234, or 0-9 digits, it's up to you to assign the passcode but make sure they will be having the same passcode. ( both computer and phone).
once paired you can see them there in your phone's bluetooth panel, your computer and your phone together.

>>to check if successful connection was achieved, select a file from your computer, right click and send to your phone.
>>do the same thing for your computer, select a file from the phone and send it to your computer, but you need to confirm that your computer will be receiving a file from a paired bluetooth, by clicking the balloon
message at downright corner of your computer where your bluetooth is located.
