Question about SanDisk Memory Media

Sandisk 4gb memory card w/adapters

Purchased a 4 gb memory card and my printer and laptop both read "Card Access Error". My cell phone allowed me to format micro card and I'm able to put music into it but only thru my vcast music manager. Even after formatting, unable view anything on card anywhere else.

No, I formatted card on my cell phone and can read it on my cell phone, nowhere else. I downloaded music by connecting cell phone to verizons v-cast cable and only thru their music manager can I sync music into card. Can't download my pictures or anything else onto it form anywhere else

"Card access error" is what I still get when I insert card in my printer or laptop, nothing else.

I have purchased a San Disk 4 G micro SDHC card for my mobile phone - LG GT540 (Optimus) which is also new. The phone doesn't seem to recognise the card. It gives me a notification that SD vard has been...

Hm.. Try using an adapter and access the card on a PC to make sure the card itself actually works. Next I would check the filesystem format. If it's formatted NTFS or something like that, odds are the phone can't read it. Make sure it's fat32 or fat. In windows you can check this after plugging the card into your system by opening my computer.. find the card in the drives menu and right clicking the drive, then clicking properties.

Cant get my camera to format a memory card

agreeing with fixer1950. This model is in fact just designed for up to 2GB SD or MMC card.

When Easyshare one was released, 4gb SDHC was not yet created. You will always get the "memory card requires formatting" (looping until you get a file sys error msg) if you will keep on trying to use the 4gb.

I have a PYN 4gb micro sd problem

Try to reboot with the card inside the comptuer. If that doesn't work then try another computer and use your last resort as attempting to replace the card adapter. If you can access data from your phone then the card is not bad.

Cannot format PNY 4gb microsd card

I could help if you provide some more information about the error message or something.

The most common cause is something might have corrupted the video card and its no longer usable

Micro sd card not working

I'm having the same problem with a Transcend 4GB microSDHC card / microSD adapter. I have also found it probably has something to do with the card reader...either the card reader is an SD card reader trying to read an SDHC card OR the card reader is not able to read high-gigabyte SD cards (over 1 GB in some cases).

LG viewty 4 gb memeory card..I accidently formated ths on phone! how do i unformat it?

Hi, I also had this issue.
The solution is on http://communities.sandisk.com/sandisk/board/message?board.id=mobile&message.id=209

You need to google for an app from HP called SP27608.exe.
This will read the card as 4gb and let you reformat it.
