Only had it for 2 months and it will not recharge

Try holding in the playstation button if this doesn't work there's a small button on the back of the controller press this to reset the hand set (you will need a pin) and if this still doesn't work Theres a simple process and only takes around five mins! (if your good with your hands) there are five star head screws in the back of the controller remove these and remove the back casing ( there is a clip at the bottom between the two sticks push this in and lift up) remove the battery plug then plug back in, replace the back casing and replace the screws. Plug the USB charging cable to the ps3 and the hand set, press the playstation button to turn on the handset JOB DONE!! Hope this helps people!
