Question about Canon PIXMA MP170 All-In-One InkJet Printer
How do I remove the Waste Ink Absober of the Canon Pixma MP 170 and do I need just a new pad? ("kits" are sold).
The waste ink pads are under the printer and cover the whole bottom of the case. You need to remove the scanner from the top, the side covers, the main case middle cover, unplug all cables from the logic board, lift the print engine up and out and replace the pads. After that you need the service mode to reset the counter if it runs after re assembly.

Testimonial: "It completely changed my idea of the scale of the pad."
