Isn't there a way to bypass the parking brake so my video plays anytime i want
i have a vm9311ts and am having the same problem. i tried grounding the pink wire to the frame but the "unlawful" blue screen still comes up. do i ground the actual ebrake wire as well as the pink wire or what? thanx

Hook the pink wire to a toggle switch and ground the switch to the chassis. when the unlawfull screen comes on then turn the switch on for a few seconds then back off for a few seconds then back on and the screen should go away. I done this with mine and it works. unfortunately you have to do this every time.

Actually, DVD purchased or rented from stores always have copyright
protections. To put dvd to ur LG phone, you need to use dvd ripper to
bypass the copyright protection and convert dvd to lg-friendly format
3GP/MP4 . I recommend that you use Daniusoft to rip the DVD's, it can
bypass all kind of dvd copyright protection schemes and save the DVD to
computer in LG video formats.
Most of all, it will not break the video into pieces, it will join all
DVD titles and chapters and make them as one standalone video file.
put the dvd in and by pass the parking brake with a ground so you can see the movie or what ever is playing and the on a remote for it press stop twice and 1264 and a menu will come up and select parking brake over ride off
just insatll a small switch to any bare metal chassis (ground) to the pink wire but to actually activate the video you have to deactivate the switch for a few seconds then deactivate and you should have video if its already hooked up to your parking brake just deactivate (put down) the parking brake for 3 - 5 seconds and pull it up again
all you have to do is hook it up 2 a kill switch...and that should help you....turn the switch on 4 a few seconds and then turn it off 4 a few seconds and when u turn it back on it should show the video
Sounds like it was wired backwards. The car in-dash receivers with video are suppose to be wired so that they will only play when the parking brake is on.
You should check your manual with your in-dash and find out how the parking brake sense wire is suppose to be wired, typically people just wire them with a switch to ground or +12V (CHECK MANUAL FOR WHICH ONE) and then flip the switch when they want it to play video; or they just wire it permanently to whatever is needed, but on some receivers that won't work because it checks for that.
