Close very wrinkled

After washing our cloths in the cabrio washer they are almost always twisted up in knots. We try and skake out all the wrinkles before putting them in dryer but after drying they still have most of the wrinkles. we were wondering if it was the way the agitator worked the washer.

Everytime I go to pull clothes out of the washer they are twisted and all wrung together. I have tried slowing down the spin speed, it doesn't do any good. I've tried folding the clothes neatly before I put them in the washer...ahhh...it's extremely frustrating!!!

Paid much more than I normally would have but fell for the sales pitch. "wash 12 pairs of jeans at once and dry in half the time with matching dryer" BULL... You have to pull apart and strech everything so it will come out of the dryer not looking like balled up paper. Everyone I've spoken to, personal and on the net, has the same problem. This is simply a bad design. Whirlpool says do smaller loads. Well why did I pay so much for this "state of the art" large cap. piece of ****? So I could do small loads? It doesn't work that way either. Good luck!

I have the same issue with our cabrio washer. I thought it must be a fluke until I started to search the internet. It is so bad sometimes that the iron wont even take them out. I still have the old washer and my wife wants me to put it back in the house.

I have the same problem with clothes being very wrinkled and clumped together after a full cycle. I believe it is not because of the spin cycle, but because the washer using very little water to wash the clothes, so they bunch up easily and are not free flowing. NOW, I try to use the cycle that uses the "Deep Clean" action or I activate it manually with all other cycles. It adds more water to the cycles and the clothes come out wrinkled, but not as much. Try it.

I am a repair tech authorized whirlpool service. This washer is not my fav.
I do not get many services calls for ball ups or twisted wrinkle clothing.
not too sure why? I work in a well populated area. I had one the other day
It ended up I called the factory to see if they had any solutions.
They said you must select the correct cycle for the clothing. They also said never was shirts with pants, Humm...:( or towels I get that towels should be washed as a towel load only no matter the washer type. They said you mush place the clothing in a drop type pattern Not stretched long ways around the wash plate. But like a pile. Humm... What about the wrinkles I asked. The tech I spoke to said it was from the related issue of not dropping the cloths in correctly. Do not lay cloths in the basket in a line pattern Ok, My option I say more water would help. Not to stick up for Whirlpool but it is not all there fault. It was mandated that washers consume a set amount of water during one cycle. Much like the low flow toilet That we all flush twice come on you know you do:) we are all in the same boat. we just have to find a better way to wash our clothing with less water. soon some nerd will come up with cloths that do not need water to get clean. clothing that will be able to to read you health. Scary

I was having the same problem. Try putting less clothes in the washer. That worked for me.

I have sold this washer to several customers as well as the Maytag Brovo, this is a characteristic of the machine. Several people have told me that if the wash a very large load that its sometimes not as bad. Good luck.

My clothes never come out of this maytag neptune top loader machine clean. they are also sooooo wrinkled that everything needs ironing desperately, sometimes my towels are twisted into knots.it definitely...

My clothes also get all twisted. I found that if I wash smaller loads, it doesn't happen. Try smaller loads...if that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

Clothes and sheets come out wrinkled and twisted

Try not to wash large items with small items the large items like sheet will twist around the small item. causeing twisting and wrinkling. Also If you are overloading the clothes or underloading the clothes they will come out wrinkled. I would try to do some testing wash a load of only towels then wash a load of only t-shirts and other light weight items that you may have. Then do just a load of your jeans. What happens? Please let me know

Laundry too wrinkled

grabbed this of an official whirlpool web site: Clothing in the washer can become tangled and twisted or balled up.
Under certain conditions, a combination of the wash load, the cycle selected and the subsequent load movement can cause
the load to become tangled or twisted.
The wash impeller has been redesigned to make the wash load less likely to tangle under the conditions mentioned above.
Replace the wash impeller with part #W10141017.
willing to bet your serial number is before this number here. easy enough part to switch if its no longer under warr
SERIAL CODE RANGE: Prior to CU39
