- The screen on my Dell DJ 30gb is lit up, but is completely dark. I can't see any text on the screen, so can't see or select options to adjust contrast.
Any suggestions?

- I've got a very similar screen problem.
I've had my P2 for about 6 months now, and it has worked perfectly. But all of a sudden the display got messed up. Everything got shifted to the left side of the screen with lines across, and the display keeps trembling form side to side. Despite this malfunction, everything else work just fine: audio keeps palying normally, and even the touchscreen works perfectly.
I don't know if it has to do with the problem, but before it got messed up I had plugged it in to a radio with mp3 input through the earphone jack. That was the only irregular thing I did...
I already tried formatting but didn't work.-

- I've had my creative about a year and a half and the screen all of a sudden has become faded or light and has lines in the picture. It plays fine.-

Set the contrast to max in the setting menu. This worked for mine.

My LCD Screen is also faded.
I just turned it on one day after about 2 months of use (using it maybe once every 2 weeks) and the screen was faded or light and has lines in the picture. It plays fine. Just hard to read. It looks like a capacitor problem and was wondering if there was a fix. I tried adjusting and using the reset button.
I think I have seen other posts about this problem.

same problem,almost in the same time frame.Faded,dark ,blurry what ever you call it you cannot read whats on the screen any longer.RECALL? Battery replacement also where and why only after a couple of monthes?

I'VE ONLY HAD MY MP3 PLAYER FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS AND THE SCREEN IS COMPLETELY FADED. IT PLAYS AS USUAL BUT I CAN HARDLY READ WHAT'S ON THE SCREEN.

my sansa e260 has a faded screen but the bacllight is on. i cannot turn it off, use it. How do i fix the faded screen?
