Normally this keys work with windows logo key, but in this case, I can decide it is virus problem, so you should update your virus guard and check your system. if it ll not work then you have to remove your Operating System & install new copy. (do not upgrade OS, create a fresh copy)

Is satelite 4300 wi fi capable? where can i buy battery of sateilte 4300 series?

If your computer has a USB-slot or a PCMCIA-slot, then it is capable of using a USB-to-wireless adapter stick, or a PCMCIA-to-wireless adapter-card.

Look on eBay -- find the model-number on the current battery, and search on eBay, being sure to search both "body" and "title" of eBay listings, to find "compatible" batteries.

The reason for your not being able to switch on the laptop without the charger could be a dead battery.

You can get free antivirus from AVG at http://free.avg.com/in-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free
You can locate the nearest centre from this URL: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/globalEntitlement.jsp. Enter the serial number of the laptop to get further details.

Hi,toshiba satelite pro L20 beeps when start up

Run check disk for hard drive errors. I recommend immediately backing up all your data that you can, wiping it, and reinstalling your programs. The rebooting problem smells like a bad hard drive. I just went through it with a Compaq at work.

Num Lock key must be off. I can't log in using my 4 digit code. How do I turn on the Num Lock key? It is not marked.

It is one of the function keys, it will have a keypad symbol on it.
On my Toshiba it is the F11 key.
Try the Fn key + F11 key to enable the numbers, press the combination of key again to turn off Num Lock

To separate the top half from the bottom, you'll have to remove all the bottom screws, two screws in the back, and ... the keyboard (remove the cover strip in front of it), and the 3 or 4 long screws hidden underneath the keyboard.

That'll do it.
