Bajanboy you're an idiot
um i'm having pretty much the same problem, though. my 4th generation ipod nano won't play ANY files, and i've had this problem before but previously i just had to hold down the play key and center key simutaneously for a few seconds and it would reset with the apple logo, then everything would be fine. but now, holding down those two keys simutaneously won't work, and i'm stuck. any ideas on how i can fix this?:(
