I bought a sata hdd but when when installing , it tella there is no hars disk

Have you tryed the chipset driver? maybe it comes with it. Anyways this is what I was able to find:
If you are unable to find a driver, consider opening the case and looking for markings on the motherboard. between slots and cpu/memory. There should be the brand and model.
If you don't want to open your pc you can find out the details with a free software
You can find the motherboard details in the motherboard page under my computer. If i remember right.
