Connecting a new front load washing machine - Fisher & Paykel
I've just purchased a new Fisher & Paykel front load washing machine and I have connected the hoses to the washing machine taps & turned it on, but it isn't working. Is there anything else I need to do?

Ther are only two things to look for with a new machine and they are...turn the water on or screens at the back of the machine where the hoses connect are plugged. Maybe you have shipping plugs there. Try www.fisherpakel.com for help.

how old is the machine? all buttons are rated for a certain number of presses. they can be removed with a soldering iron and replaced with similar buttons if you are so inclined. or a new board can be purchased from F+P.
Agitator can be removed easy,Take out the fabric dispenser cup, Reach down inside the agitator & undo the wing nut, left to undo. Take out agitator & clean & the bottom of the bowl, For a more better clean fill machine with hot to high water level & leave soak over night,Do heavy duty wash in the morning to remove scrud.
Try cleaning the INLET and the outlet valves, it is possible that the filters are blocked. If not check the wiring harness from the panel, check for moisture within the panel, if so use a dryer to warm off and test. Please estimate before any parts are replaced.
Hi - are these particles kinda ash grey black in colour? if they are then the bellows have sprung a leak.. unfortunartely the only way is to replace the inner stainless drum.
Inspect the top of the bowl for any signs of structural damage along the grey plastic housing as it contains very fine sand used to counter balance the inner bowl.. on rare ocassions these leaks and give you the particle effect similar to what you've described..
Hey mate - Fault code F002 on these front loaders refer to some heating issues within the machine, it be anything from a loose wire - faulty NTC sensor - to a stuffed element and worse case the control PCB unit.
Every one I've worked on a few lately and both of them have had thermistor leaks in to the control board area causing the control board to fail, Sounds like you may have the same problem..
Remove the top control area and check for water.
i think that 1 or more suspension rods r faulty. lift the lid and at the front of the machine u will see 2 plastic covers, remove the covers and undo the screws underneath. now lift the front of the hob up gently and u will see the suspension rods. they r easliy replaced. but first see if they havent just popped out. if they have just popped out look at the other 3 and refit to how the others are.if u need more help or u find another problem reply back and i will help u more.good luck
