the drain tube is most likely clogged. if the lower vent is freezing up there is no way to confirm because it is covered with ice. the reason water leaks onto the floor is, the refrigerator goes into defrost, frost melts and runs down the ice to the door. use a hair dryer to remove all ice, then use hot water to check drain. drain tube may be up to a foot long and may have a trap. you may have to go in through the back to gain access to the drain
The most likely source of that water is a frozen/blocked drain for the defrost drain at the bottom of the freezer behind the back wall of the freezer. Its a fairly common problem so i have written this tip explaining how to clean that drain for the defrost. http://www1.fixya.com/support/r9991618-wrong_when_side_side_refrig_leaks_from
Whoops
The fridge has a refrigerant leak, or the thermostat has failed.
Try replacing the thermostat, if that does not work then you will need to call a technician in to find and repair the refrigerant leak and regass the fridge
There is a small hole in the back of the freezer that lets the water drain into the bucket in the rear of the applaince. This hole will need to bee cleared as it is blocked. Use something like a bottle brush and push down the hole as far as you can go. Don't worry you can't damage anything. The hole is located behind you bottom basket through a small grill that covers your evaporator. It may need some hot water over the hole first it if it is frosted over again.
The evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.
Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the inside of the freezer at the bottom of the rear cover.
the most common reason for frost buildup/condensation is doors not sealing properly(doors out of alignment).
use a spirit level to ensure unit is level, leaning back slightly but not touching wall, adjusters are on feet on the bottom of the unit, then look along the doors to make sure all seals are tight.lastly even though they say frost free it is worthwhile doing a total defrost annually(leave the doors open)and wipe out with bicarb and dry thoroughly.before switching back on.
clean out vents/drains at the same time.
then if it goes wrong you know its gonner cost......
good attempt, its actually a clogged drain thats backing up and your drain water is not able to leave refrig so it falls to bottom of freezer floor and eventually out the door. romve the items from the freezer and take the lower back wall off form inside, directly under the evaporator under all that ice there is a drain hole, youll need to clear that hole of iec( pouring boiling water down until you get a free flow of water then you can reassemble uint problem solved
