Motorola H500 Bluetooth

I recently purchased a cell phone made by your company,I am extremely happy. Then I purchased a bluetooth, from a small store. It is a H500,and I am not happy with it at all.It doesn't stay in my ear and is terribly uncomortable.I wanted to change it to the one that has the bud in it,but the small store where it was purchsed refused. They gave me such a problem.I ended up having to keep this one. Please help me to do something about this or at least a suggestion.I lik Motorola products very much.

I am afraid that you are at the mercy of that store. Empower yourself and go to walmart or target and by a new bluetooth. I personally like jawbone, and the motorola stereo headset. I don't remember the model. There are quite a few models out there that are relatively inexpensive. Good luck

Unable to use new h500 headset

The H500 is a monaural headset, thus good for phone calls only, not for listening to stereo music. You haven't specified which Motorola phone you own. Check in its user guide if it is able to handle stereo bluetooth headsets (i.e. if it bears the A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles), which are suitable for music streams. If your phone is able to handle them, go to the mall (or store, or even online), buy one set which suits you better, pair them with your phone and enjoy!
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

Problems pairing up a Nokia 6301 with my Motorola H500

Try power cycling the phone. Turn the Nokia off, wait 10 seconds, then turn back on and try again. It really does help sometimes. Let us know if this doesn't help.

Cant Pair my Motorola H500 to my LG Rumor

turn bluetooth on your phone on. then on your bluetooth headset hold the power button for about 10 seconds or until you see the bluelight on steady. next on your phone in the bluetooth section klick ok on the search for device option, when you found the bluetooth with your phone it will ask if you want to use that device, klick yes, and it might ask you for a code, enter four zeros "0000" and that should connect automatic.

Motorola H500 and a motorola v3x phone searches and finds headset but won't connect

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select H500 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

New phone can not find bluetooth H500

Power off the H500. Hold down the power/activity/main large button (have no idea what Moto really calls this) for 6 to 8 secs. The LED ring should stay lit solid at this point and is in discovery mode. Now have your phone search for the headset. Default password on the device is 0000.

Bluetooth

Press the all-in-one button for about 8 seconds until the light is constantly on, this puts it in pairing mode. then go to your device and initiate pairing. the device code is 0000.

When done the blue light should shut down, and your all set.
