    Hi Ladywinn,

Please click this link that I have provided, this particular power supply board is the one I have for the magnavox television. <
. The number that you gave me for the power supply: 99650003879 is different from the one I have. I googled that number and this picture of the power supply was shown < but this is not the power supply board that I have. The number that I have for the power supply board is LJ44-00125A, and as I googled the first link I provided, that is the exact picture of the board that I have. Thanks.

Finally, I have a picture by replacing the main module, but when facing the front of it and looking at the picture I noticed on the right hand side 1/3 of the screen is dark or black. Then, set will shut down after 7 to 10 seconds. What could it be?

Acorrding to files they list c8059 and c8060 both being 3300uf 10v, can use small 16v Where these 2 capacitors are they will be in a tight fit on board bottom center of smps board.

Our plasma tv fades in and out. While watching tv, it will be bright and then dim out a bit and then become brighter again. What causes this?

That problem from X main block. If you have volt meter or have axperience on electronic measurement, on panel plasma attached voltage for vs, vset, vsc, ve, va. Measure at the point of measurements. if there is a difference between the reference voltage on the panel, try to reset the voltage. If still do not work, please replace or contact samsung technician.

How do i fix my magnavox tv, it keeps blinking red. it wont let me turn it on. what do i do to solve this problem?

If you remove the back, you might see a couple of electrolytic caps that are bulged on the power supply, that need to be replace, or just replace the power supply itself. There are also two readings, that you can read, the VA voltage and The VS voltage. There will be a label on the inside on the back farme that will tell you what the VS, VA, voltages should read on the output of the power supply.

My Samsung SPN-4235 had the picture go out several months ago. When the power button is pushed, it just flashed on and off. It wouldn't power on for 6-7 weeks, came back on for a few days, then started to...

The flashing led is on the logic board and it indicates communication from the main bd to the logic bd via the lvds cable --your problem would best be analyzed by verifying the va - vs - ve - vset -and vsc voltages - then if all are good it could possibly be the y-main or the x main bds

Plasma TV screen dull

yep, do u have a digital multimeter? if so, measure all the voltages from the power board located top middle. if u look at the top right of the panel, there is a sticker with va, ve, vset, vsc settings. ground the black lead, and use the red lead to read each of the settings on the pow bd. if there are more than 2 mismatches, its your power board and needs replaced.

Plasma no picture, fades to black from startup logo

I finally isolated the problem, the problem has to do with the Y SUSTAINER BOARD not receiving enough/necessary voltage when turned on, while initially thinking it was just the yboard was the problem, i replaced the Y sus board with no success, with only further diagnosis, i discovered the board voltages coming from the powersupply, there are 5 voltages that relate to the Y sustainer board, VA, VSC, VS, VE, VSET. they all supply a certain voltages that all have to be supply the correct voltage in order for the y sustainer board to be working, well guess what, the VA line, which for my set needs 70volts, which upon startup quickly drops from 75volts to a jumpy 8.5-9.5 volts, which of course is nowhere near the 70 volts needed, so this quick drop in voltage is directly related to the screen fade upon startup, i found the problem now the real problem is finding a replacement power supply. hope this helsp anyone with similar issues.

Magnavox 50MF231D/37 Plasma tv

The plasma panel in most cases exceeds the cost of replacing the TV. There is also the issue that they tend to use different versions and makes of panels in these sets. Some panels are made by Samsung and some are made by LG. I would start shopping for a replacement TV at this point.

This is how I approach this problem: I check for menu appearing on the screen: If it has menu, I look at connections. If it does not have menu then I check voltages from the power supply. I check for the following voltages. VSCAN, VS, VE, VSET and VA. If only one voltage is there, then, the PCB that needs to be replaced is normally the SMPS and/or the Logic. If all the voltages are there, the Digital PCB should be replaced. If it is missing one voltage, I disconnect the Y Main and X Main from the power supply and check if the voltage reappears. This symptom is normally caused by one of these two boards having a short on the missing voltage line. The defective PCB and/or the Power Supply (SMPS) need to be replaced. If you are in need of a technician, contact Samsung at: 1-800-SAMSUNG If you have any other questions, reply to this post and I will respond.
