HI... I HAVE A LRE30755ST LG KITCHEN RANGE THAT WHEN WE TURN ON ANY OF THE BURNERS THEY START AT HIGH AS ALWAYS BUT FROM THERE ON WE ARE NOT ABLE TO LEVEL IT DOWN FROM THE HIGH TEMPERATURE.

  • acabriones Feb 09, 2010

BEFORE I ORDER THE TERMOSTAT I JUST WANT TO BE SURE I EXPLAIN MY SELF CORRECTLY I'M FOREIGN AND MY ENGLISH IS NOT THAT GOOD. WE RECENTLY CHANGE ONE OF THE FIVE UPPER ELEMENTS THAT DIDN'T WANT TO WORK AND IT DID WORK PERFECT FOR A WHILE BUT KNOW FOUR OF THEM WHEN WE TURNED THEM ON THEY GO ON HIGH AS USSUAL BUT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO LEVEL THEM DOWN (FROM 1 TO 9) THEY JUST STAY IN HIGH, JUST ONE OF THEM WORK PERFECT AND THE OVEN DOES NOT WORK AT ALL AND SUDDENLY IT WORKS PERFECT FOR A MOMENT AND THEN IT DONT WORK ANY MORE. IS THE TERMOSTAT ALL THE PROBLEM???

  • acabriones Feb 09, 2010

We have more then two years with kitchen range and yes it does start on high heat on every top element the problem is that now from the five elements only one is working propertly and the other four they start at high temperature and we are not able to lower them down plus the oven don't work at all and some times the oven just work perfect for a little time and then again it doesn't work at all.

the elements they stay the same just one work perfect and the other four just run on high temperature.

The gas regulator is in need of replacement. you can see it were all the burner lines conjoin together then that one large line connects to the regulator

I believe if you look in your owner/user manual on page 7 this model starts out every time on high heat on every top element and you lower the heat setting on the stoves keypad control

You are going to need a new thermostat for your oven. The thermostat regulates the oven temperature by turning on and off the elements. The thermostat is usually located in the upper, rear section of the oven and connects with two wires and is held in by two screws. Order a replacement and the oven should work normally after replacing the thermostat.

Hi, this is a simple case of worn out control which needs to be replaced and i will advice you to call in a technician for proper replacement and servicing so that you do not damage a wire or short it out while trying your self.

Does it have a thermostat to regulate the temps? If it is working correctly it will turn the element on and off to maintain the set temp.

There is also some thermo couple in there to regulate the flow of gas. If that goes haywire gas does not flow properly and ........

Replace the switch that controls this burner to get it back under control. This will solve your problem as the switch is what controls the burner temperature regulation.

Presumed bad circuit board on my LG LRE30755ST electric range

You may wish to try removing and re-seting some of the connectors on the back of the control panel...worked for me when our oven and timers stopped working.....

Remove the sheet metal panel at the top of the back of the oven..three phillips screws....then slide the two blue ribbon, wire connectors out, and re-seat them a few times to get a good connection.

Try to un-seat and re-seat some of the others aswell...perhaps un-plug from the wall first....but make sure there is good connections....then re-plug in, and see what happens...

Have you checked the main power input terminals first? they do carry a lot of current and are subject to burning off, then if electronically controlled,it could be an electronic fuse in the ovens control panel/keypad shutting things down, somewhat unlikely though...let me know and thank you for using this site.....Dan

The two large burners will not turn on, it started with just the inner burner on the dual size (the switch showed it on but it did not heat) now neither front burner switch will turn on

you are going to have to buy a new burner part. if you are able to open the stove top and look closely at the element inside you should notice that somewhere along the lines of teeth, it has broken.
