The computer can not boot. When turning on, it reeads, "A disk read error occured"
Hi,
put your windows CD in the DVD Drive.
start the computer, press F2 when it Boots up. Should take you into Bios settings. ** Be Careful here** entering the wrong values can render your laptop useless.
Scroll across the page until you see boot-device priority. move the DVD/CD Drive to the top, or as first boot device.
Save settings and exit.
when the computer reboots it should start the windows installation, and overwrite any missing-corrupt or deleted files.
Hope this solves your problem.
