There are some possible reasons why there's no power coming out. Could be a fuse on the Circuit Board or The Power Supply Capacitors are bad.

For this problem, it's better to have a local repair tech to check and repair it for you. If the problem is the fuse or capacitors, then it should not cost too much. But if the power supply board needs to be replaced, that might cost for about $150 up to $250 depending on the model of the phone and the availability of the board.

Good luck and have a great day!

If you know the location of the capacitors and fuse, yes you could check it using a multi-meter. The value is listed on most capacitors, if you check the capacitors, the value that will appear on the multi-meter and on the capacitor should be the same.

However, if you're not familiar with it, I would suggest not to do it. Because the TV or the board should be powered up while checking the capacitors in order for you to get the correct value.

Now, if the value appeared on the multi-meter is different from the value on the capacitor itself, then the capacitor is bad. Because it's not giving the correct value.

But if you're getting confused on which to check, that's the time you will need to get a second opinion from another local repair shop.

    Thank you!

What does code 576p indicate?

576p means 576 lines, progressive scan. 576 is number of visible lines on the UK system (and other nominally 625 line countries). The normal transmission system for these countries is 576i (interlaced scan), so I suspect that you are only seeing the 576p indication because there are no channels, and your TV is interpreting this as progressive scan.

The reason for no channels may be a poor signal from the aerial, or that the device (Humax or TV) has not been tuned. If you have power-saving enabled on the Humax, it will not pass on the aerial signal to the TV when the Humax is in standby. If this is the case, either turn power-saving off, or use a splitter to feed the aerial separately to the TV and Humax.

Why do I lose my recording schedule when I turn TV off? If TV is on Humax records perfectly.

Do you have a power strip or surge protector that recognizes when the power is disabled to the primary item, it automatically disables power to all other items? Easy way to check is to turn tv off and look for lights on other items plugged into surge protector.

I no longer have directtv and would like to use the tv with cable. How do I hook it up? I can't seem to make it work with my basic cable package.

The LD2060 is built to receive only the DirecTV radio frequencies. You won't receive standard television or HD RF signals through the coaxial connector.

Philips DSR708 DirecTV DVR hangs up after power up

Is this a new issue that has shown up on the receiver? If so then you might have a bad hard drive in the receiver causing it to hang on boot up. Also these units require two inputs from the satellite antenna so that could be another possibility.
