Question about Technics SL-1200MK2 Turntable
Sometimes the glue works, sometimes it doesn't. If you need the part, please go HERE.
To find out how to open up your turntable, go HERE.
Please be very careful when doing this. DO NOT just flip your turntable upside down and start taking things apart. Make sure you put ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE on the Tonearm. The easiest way is to use your dust cover, then flip it upside down, with the dust cover on. Also, try and remove the platter first, otherwise it will drop, and you could cause damage to the magnet.
Also make sure your unit is unplugged before doing any work.

There is a post that goes into the black knob.. that post has slipped down into the table. you need to open up the table by taking out all the screws and taking off the feet (there are a few more screws under the feet too), locate the post and push it back up through the hole... be careful not to bend anything by the switch.
dab a bit of glue on the post and place the knob back on. Done!
