Your modem is messed up, it happened to me well actually it IS happening to me, i can help you by permanently fixing it or tempararly fixing it, the permanent way is to call acer, they may have the worst customer service but if you don't have any important files and can wait for about a week go ahead and call them, make sure you have your serial code to the computer handy they are going to follow a flow chart tell you get it fixed, and when it does not get fixed at the end of the flow chart they will tell you to do a system restore, this will dellet all the files on your computer and reset everything back to the way your computer was the way it came out of the box, if that does not work, they will tell you how to send the computer in for repairs this will fix the wireless problem for ever. BUT if you have important stuff, can't wait a week, here is what to do to stop the problem tell you got everything important on another computer or have time to get it repaired, go to wireless network settings, veiw wireless avalible wireless networks then click change advanced settings, go to wireless networks tab, if the network is in the box labeled perfered networks click on it go to propertys click connect even if it is not broadcasting, if it is not in perfered networks click add fill in the info to everything and make sure to click CONNECT EVEN IF IT IS NOT BROADCASTING and enter the wep key if you have one this should fix it so you will have internet.

My e2000 keeps diconnecting from two older computer using window xp but my windows vista computer stays very well connected. what is my problem?

I think the type of wireless security on your network might be WPA2. Some times the WPA2 is not supported on Windows XP and the wireless connection will drop.
Open the setup page of the router and check the wireless settings of the network.
Also set the wireless channel to fixed number 6.
You will need to access the setup page of the router.
See if that works.

Acer 6930 wireless adapter failure conflict

Most Acers use a form of Intel IPN2220 Wireless card. If yours does, you use XP and your router is using WPA or WPA2 (TKIP or AES) security then you'll need to update the driver by searching for it manually using the Custom button (Hardware) in Windows update (instead of Express). This driver is not part of XP service pack 2 or 3. Like me you've fallen foul of thinking that keeping your computer up to date using Automated Windows Update will keep everything in good order when in fact it can generate more problems than it solves

Aspire 6930 wireless button not working

Without any wireless networks available, using your computer wirelessly is most pointless. If you want to set up a wireless access point in your home you need a wireless router, connected to Internet.

My wireless internet stopped working on my acer 6930?

If you cannot locate it out the outside of the laptop or verify it is either on or off by use of the LED displays, try to unplug your wireless router for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then plug it back in, this resets your router for a much stronger signal. Hope this helps

Some of the 03 Tahoe's have an issue with the Crankshaft position sensor that causes it to stall or not crank at all. Have someone check the Crankshaft position sensor.

My D-link Wireless router not working.

G´day again m8 :-),

Your D-Link AirPlus G DI-524 Wireless Router needs a hard reset.
Log in to your router, go to -> administration -> factory default -> Restore Factory Defaults: =  “No”
Then save settings.
You have now reset the router.
First thing you do is set your wireless setup in your computer to the same, i.e. no security.
Test if there is connection, if, the start with the setup from the top, beginning with admin password.

/Teis
NOTE, be paitient after reset, your router need to contact Telstra to optain your IP address.
