This is usually due to the balance weights coming off the drum, or the machine has an unbalanced load. or it is not level.

Front loader jumps over the floor and makes loud noise when on spin

Hey friend, thanks for your post!

It sounds like a possible issue within the drum of your Electrolux washer and that is why it is jumping around and making a noise. Is this a new installation? If so, I would suggest checking the back of your washer to assure the shipping bolts have been removed.
If it is not a new installation it could be a potential issue with your shocks or drum and I would suggest seeking additional assistance from a professional for further help. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Forgot to remove shipping bolts from the washer. did 2 loads. did i do any damage to my brand new frigidaire?

Probably not, but I bet it did a little jumping around and floor vibrating. Those bolts just lock the tub in place so that it doesn't fall off the tub hangers.

Washer jumps all around during final spinn

Hi
Does this happen every time???
If YES... then the machine is not balanced on the floor well.... the 4 stands on which the machine rests have adjustable screws... You will need to fasten or loosen the nuts that will adjust the height of the legs on which the machine rests.... all the 4 legs need to be firmly on the floor .... If one is too high then the machine rocks on its side...

If NO.. only sometimes...
You are overloading the machine with heavy clothes... distribute your wash clothes by weight...

How do you keep washer from jumping around during spin cycle? The washer is on one of the Maytag storage stands. It is leveled on a concrete floor but jumps around when on medium or high spin cycle. Any...

first of all if this is a new washer you need to make sure all the shipping straps or bolts are off. one way to find out is to open the door reach and grab on to the tub it supposed to be able to move up down and side to side. if not then the shipping bolts has not been removed.

these machines can have this problem when placed on a pedestal and/or the floor may be level but not solid. a "bouncy" floor will amplify any movements. remember, these machines are much heavier and spin much faster than top-loaders. just because it doesn't jiggle doesn't mean the floor is level. you may have to brace to floor or foundation somehow

Noisy washer and jumps around

It could be a few different issues. Check to be sure your washer leveling legs are set correctly. Also many newer washing machines have what they call shocks, stabilizing struts. Those can fail over time and cause your machine to be off balance and walk the floor/vibrate. When is the machine nosey? If when its filling with water it could be a water inlet valve. Or during the spin cycle it could be a drum roller, belt, pulley, Or top bearing glides to name a few things.

Whirlpool washing machine

Welcome hendrik,
You said, jumping around during spin cycle

How old is your GHW9150 washer?

Usually it is overload or load unbalanced due to uneven load. You must stop the machine and re-distribute the load and or weight!

Here are some Whirlpool reasons for you.
But if nothing helps you may have a mechanical problem to be serviced!

Try these ideas first!

Is the load balanced?

A single or bulky item may cause imbalance. Add more items
or redistribute the load.
Washer makes noise or vibrates
Is the washer level?
The washer must be level. The four feet should be properly
installed, and the nuts should be tightened against the
washer cabinet.
As water is drained from the washer, you may hear air being
pulled through the pump. This happens during the end of
draining. It is normal.
Are you washing items with metal snaps, buckles or zippers?
You may hear metal items touching the washer drum. This is
normal.
Is washer installed on a sturdy and solid floor?
Refer to the “Installation Instructions” for flooring
requirements. Noise and vibration may be reduced by placing
a piece of ¾" (19.1 mm) plywood underneath your washer.
The plywood may extend underneath both washer and dryer
to keep them at equal heights.
Let me know If you have any questions and what happens!!!

Washer off balance

Check your skate plate assembly or Base pad. these are the leading reason why the machine will be jumping around.

If these are in tack.

Please specify minor repair.
