Probably a problem with the CCD if a dull pink/red colour.Maybe something inside. You will need it professionally looked at.

When i try to print a photo i get white stripes across the photo. I bought a new ink cartridge but it didn't help.

White stripes across a print-out usually indicate clogged printer heads: look at your user manual on the cleaning procedures.
You can try cleaning BOTH the Black and Color cartridges heads by gentling cleaning and wiping the heads with clean moist tissue paper/kitchen paper. Also clean and dry the contacts (eg. copper looking printed circuit).
For bad and very dirty print heads, I also use a warm shallow dish of water and wash the head only and then dry off with clean tissue paper.
After re-inserting the cartridge, I suggest that you do a cleaning cycle and alignment and do a test print to ensure that the printing is back to normal.
Hope it helps: let me know how you go.

The scanner/copier is adding a straight line through all documents, left of center, all the way across the page. Is there something we can do to get rid of this line? Thank you.

First of all when do you get this problem. When using to top loader for documents or when you are using the normal coping???IF the problems appear in bouth ways you need to clean the printer copy glasses with something soft and clean. If that doesn`t help you need to open the printer and clean it.For that you mnay need proffesional help

Problem with print

It sounds like your shutter may be failing.

The N80 has a vertical travel focal plane shutter. This is essentially two curtains that travel across the film plane. At lower shutter speeds, one curtain opens up the shurter, you wait, then the next one travels across, stopping the exposure. At faster speeds, though, they both move together, leaving a small gap between them to let light through.

If the first shutter curtain isn't always making it all the way to the top, this could give you just what you're seeing -- a black band across the top of the photo. One blank negative may well indicate that your shutter failed completely on that shot.

This is something best handled by a camera repair shop. It could possibly just be some dirt in the shutter mechanism, which would be fixed by a good CLA (clean, lube, adjust) ... that's no a bad idea if it's an older camera anyway. However, it could be more than that. It won't be clear which without getting down into the camera itself.
