    What is causing the battery to drain?

    Running the car will drain the battery it if it's not charging ! An if your charging light is on it isn't charging ! Did you check power an grounds on the alternator ? There is a single heavier wire on the back of the alternator, this should have battery voltage ! You may want to take this to a ASE certified repair shop !
    With the ignition switch in the RUN position, voltage is applied through the warning indicator I circuit 904 (LG/RD) to the voltage regulator. This turns the regulator on, allowing current to flow from battery sense A circuit 35 (OG/LB) to the generator field coil. When the engine is started, the generator begins to generate alternating current (AC) which is internally converted to direct current (DC). This current is then supplied to the vehicle's electrical system through the output (B+) terminal of the generator.
    Once the generator begins generating current, a voltage signal is taken from the generator stator and fed back to the regulator S circuit 4 (WH/BK). This voltage feedback signal (typically half the battery voltage) is used to turn off the warning indicator.
    With the system functioning normally, the generator output current is determined by the voltage of the A circuit 35 (OG/LB). The A circuit 35 (OG/LB) voltage is compared to a set voltage internal to the regulator, and the regulator controls the generator field current to maintain the correct generator output.
    The set voltage will vary with temperature and is typically higher in cold temperatures and lower in warm temperatures. This allows for better battery recharge in the winter and reduces the chance of overcharging in the summer.
    Battery Positive Output (B+) Circuit 38 (BK/OG)
    The generator output is supplied through the battery positive output (B+) terminal on the back of the generator to the battery and electrical system.
    I Circuit 904 (LG/RD)
    The I (ignition) circuit 904 (LG/RD) is used to turn on the voltage regulator. This circuit is powered up with the ignition switch in the RUN position. This circuit is also used to turn the charging system warning indicator on if there is a fault in the charging system operation.
    A Circuit 35 (OG/LB)
    The A (battery sense) circuit 35 (OG/LB) is used to sense battery voltage. This voltage is used by the regulator to determine generator output. This circuit is used to supply current to the generator field (rotor). The amount of current supplied to the rotor will determine generator output.
    S Circuit 4 (WH/BK)
    The S (stator) circuit 4 (WH/BK) is used to feed back a voltage signal from the generator to the regulator. This voltage is used by the regulator to turn off the charging system warning indicator. The S circuit is fed back externally on external mounted regulator generators.

    1. If the customer concern is verified after the initial inspection, refer to the Symptom Chart to determine which tests to carry out.
      • The charging system warning indicator is on with the engine running (the system voltage does not increase)
      • Circuitry.
      • Voltage regulator.
      • Generator.

      Your whole problem is the alternator is not charging , a couple tests with a volt meter would tell you !

    What is the code F10

    The F-10 error code normally indicates a runaway temperature condition on most Kenmore ranges beginning with model 790. . .
    Since you are seeing this code when the range is off, then you likely have a failed oven temperature sensor probe. Unplug the range or shut off the breaker to disconnect the electrical power. Shut off the gas supply. You can now access this component to check it. On most free standing ranges, you can pull the unit away from the wall and remove the back lower panel to access the oven temperature sensor probe. The sensor protrudes through the top of the back wall of the oven cavity. Unplug the wiring connection to the probe and measure the resistance through the probe with a volt ohm meter. At room temperature, you should measure about 1100 ohms. If you measure over 2000 ohms through the sensor, then this failed sensor is causing your F-10 code and it will need to be replaced.
    You can order a new temperature sensor from the Sears PartsDirect website. Use your full model number to access the diagram and parts list for your range.
    If the sensor tests okay, then you could have a wiring problem or a failed electronic oven control board.

    Hi, welcome to fixya.

    Based on the information you've provided ( 240 in 120 out ) I'd say you need a new timer/ERC.

    I would definitely replace the control. Make sure you unplug the unit from the wall and ohm out the elements to confirm you don't have one open, you'd not want to go to the hassle of putting in a new control just to discover one of the elements is also toast.

    Also, when ordering a new control be sure to provide your model number and serial number to insure you get the correct control. Sometimes one can have two ranges seemingly identical, but if they have different serial numbers it is possible to have different revisions of electronic controls.

    It depends on what temperature range the generator will be operating in. Below is a chart from Tecumseh that shows different oils for different temperature ranges. It says on their website to use a high quality brand name oil so you don't have to get actual Tecumseh oil.25b21be.jpg

    When you get up to around 260 the engine shuts off to protect itself. But normal temp would be around 190 to 230

    F 450 instrument cluster has no power and is inop need to trace wires to power source

    Interior fuse box fuse no.33(15amp) supplies power in run/acc postion to BK/PK wire pin 19 of cluster.
    Interior fuse box fuse no. 45(10 amp) supplies power in the start or run postion on the RD/YE wire pin 20 of cluster.
    Interior fuse panel fuse no. 41(10amp) supplies power to the battery saver relay on LG/OG wire pin 11.
    Interior fuse panel fuse no. 35(10amp) supplies power to interior lamp relay on BK/LG wire pin 12.
    The last 2 are hot at all times.

    Entirely possible and in range. Depends on outside temps and type of driving. The radiator is colled by electric cooling fans, controlled by temp sensors. Fans should come on automatically when a/c is turned on

    Destop Ambient Temperature Range

    three things you need to remember. 1 your power supply has a fan and as long as it works and stays clean you should be ok for normal operating there. 2. you need to have as big a case fan as you can fit into the computer and use two if possible, 3.never leave it running when you are done this will definately burn up a power supply and over heat processors.
