Panasonic NV GS 15 deck jammed

I have a Panasonic NV GS 15 and just tried to change the tapes on it. I took the one out and put the one I wanted inside - and because I was in a rush I'm not sure what happened. I think the camcorder took the tape down inside without me having time to push the "Push" button and get the tape secured in that "box". When the tape made its way down, and it stopped lowering, the tape was popped out a bit because it wasn't taken correctly inside the camcorder. So now the tape deck is pushed out and won't budge - and the whole side of the camera that opens for the tape is also stuck open.

Yes i had the same problem ...
1.Put the cassette as far as it allows... and move the cassette left and right slightly twisting , and you will activate the mechanism
2.SOON the mechanism gets fully out immediately!!!! remove the battery
3.CLEAN contacts (I'm looking right now on the internet to find where the hell sensors-contacts are)
4.PREY that it works :-)

I had the same problem.
Here is what solves it for me:
1. I put the program dial on recording.
2. switch on power.
3. Open the cover to eject cassette - nothing happened.
4. pushed the "push" button (on top rear) of the mechanism
although this is used for inserting a new tape
I pushed lightly several times while playing with camcorder angle in my hand.
Eventually the mechanism switched and the cassette was ejected.
5. with the mechanism open I took out the battery.
6. I cleaned the inside and bottom contacts and mechanism with a small brush and by blowing some air with my mouse.
7. connect battery, turn on, insert new cassette. All is back to normal !!!
8. Good luck !!!

Hi F06 appear on screen;cant eject cassette

You have what's called a Panasonic K-Deck machine. That code means the Mechanism locks after unloading the tape. The cause of this could either be the 'carriage' where the tape fits, or the Load Motor. Plenty of free information on line just type "Panasonic K-Deck" into Google.

Panasonic NV HD630 is showing error f06 when the eject button is pressed. The tape cassette seems to be locked in and does not rise. I have removed the top. The tape is withdrawn back to the cassette....

You have a K-Deck mechanism. F06 means the mechanism locks after unload. The cause of this is the load motor or the carriage alignment.
If you enter "Panasonic K-Deck" into google you should find service information and a guide to getting the tape out - all free!

Panasonic NV HD620 Error F06

You appear to have a model that uses the K Deck Chassis.
F06 in that case stands for: "Mechanism locks after unload". The cause being either the loading motor or the carriage alignment.

How to time loading arm cogs on VCR?

Most Panasonic VCR use a mechanisms with a letter. For example the NV-HS900 uses a K Deck. What you need to do is type the model number into google and search for which deck it uses. Then with luck you might also find the instructions for setting the deck up correctly. I got the K-Deck one free.

ReSET BUTTON

The same happens from time to time with my panasonic NV-GS11 GC video camera and I have no idea what is causing it. But what I normally do is just turn it of wait 10 seconds and turn it on again. If it stil comes on try removing the tape and see if it is faulty.

Tape jam

First try to press the power button and the eject button at the same time. If that dosent work its advised to take it to a repair person as taking apart a unit like this can cause more problems then you have now. Lets just hope that its not to late and that the camcorder dosent have those pana caps that always goes bad. Good Luck
