According to sears parts direct it is only available as a pump sub-assembly for $172.00. and personally I would just purchase a new unit and be done.

How do you turn a 6hp boat motor to a 8hp motor on a Johnson 1993

cheapest way is to buy a bigger power head
you may achieve the desired power by boring and fitting bigger pistons but you will have to have a long talk with a dealer service center technician to see if that would be feasible to do
as the motor is quite long in the tooth, it may be a better to consider a late model or new unit as the advantages of the later technology will be beneficial in the long run

What Does The Term Feasibility Study Mean?

A feasibility study Is conducted to determine whether a program, ideal or design is cost effective or marketable or environmentally sound or physically possible to do. Is it feasible to do this properly or not do it at all? It allows you to make an informed decision.

It filled with water and motor tries to start, working few seconds, and then trips the overload protection circuit. Then it cools off for a couple minutes and tries again and the overload trips again. I...

The motor is overheating, so it could be the motor itself or the capacitor, a black cylindrical piece under the head of the machine. Replace the capacitor, as that is cheaper, if it still does it, its the motor, which may not be economically feasible to replace. 7_16_2013_10_36_04_pm.jpg

I need replacement kettle for a popcorn maker 39-A

That kettle is available from Partstown.com. They are a restaurant parts distributor. But be prepared, that part is in the $600.00 range. It generally is nor feasible to replace a kettle on that model.

Motor varies in speed and smells light flickers

It sounds like the motor's going bad. I suggest replacing the motor or the vacuum, depending on the condition of the rest of the vacuum, and how much the service center charges for a new motor and service.
If it's an older vacuum, there are probably additional items showing wear and tear. This would make it more feasible to purchase a new vacuum.

Turns on but the motor doesn't run anymore

If it is the compressor it will be best to just replace the unit as repair will exceed the cost of new. If it is the fan motor it would be feasible to replace. To determine would require the use of a meter to see if motor gets voltage. If nothing works it could be as simple as a new power switch. Unfortunately in this venue I can only surmise. I wish you luck!

My Vacuum keeps cutting off after just a few minutes of use

You probably have a clog that is overheating your motor and tripping the thermal cutout. Check all air hoses and inlets for clogs. If all of your air pathways are clear, you most likely have a bad motor bearing, also indicated by a high-pitched squealing sound. If that's the case, it would require a motor replacement; which is not usually economically feasible.
