Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

E-mail links don't work for receivers of mail. I have WIN XP home edition, use ATT/Yohoo DLS, and Mozilla/Firefox. It used to work, but now, when I go to ''File>link> my e-mail does come up, but link is repeated 3 times (all run together). Whether I delete repeats or not, receivers of e-mail all report that links don't work.

The only "Windows Explorer" on my computer is a short cut and it opens the control panel. So, I opened Internet Explorer, thinking you meant that. Went to "Tools", but there is no " Folder options" under tools. So I went to "internet options", but there is no "file types. I know that it is difficult to type instructions, and I thank you for trying, but nothing here makes any sense.

White cloudy screen-only when I access my mail. I have tried several of your solutions but nothing works. I can do anything else under the sun, but I want to send and receive email!

Mozilla Firefox has the ability to block content and images from web sites. If you're seeing a white screen when visiting Yahoo! Mail, or clicking the "Save to My Web" button or other toolbar buttons , you have either accidentally or intentionally blocked images and/or content from Check your Mozilla Firefox and Extension options to make sure you haven't blocked or accidentally blocked images, iframes, etc. via a wildcard.
If you have AdBlocker installed,
  1. Click AdBlock under the Tools menu.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Remove any entries from the blocked sites list that contain "" or "".
  4. Click Done.
If you don't have AdBlock installed, check your Firefox options:
  1. Click Options under the Tools menu.
  2. Click Web Features.
  3. Click Exceptions next to Load images.
  4. Remove any sites listed that contain "" or "".
If you still don't see the Download button, either your user profile is corrupt or you have another extension installed that is blocking images from Yahoo! Please a new profile or try running Firefox in Safe Mode. In addition, see the Mozilla Firefox FAQ link under More Help.

Email links do not connect to internet - silver surfer limited knowledge

Try to copy and paste the links from the email into the address bar in the browser. Also if it that does not work try to use a different browser (ex. mozilla firefox or google chrome). If you cant access the links in the mail (if they are hyperlinked) view your email as plain text instead of html and you should see the complete links

When I receive a email with a link, I double click on the link but I can't open it up. If i highlight it and click on search, it will usually open but not all of the time. It has only been doing this for...

Internet Explorer is very slow when trying to browse the internet. It means, that when you try to open a link, a url and or a website the loading of the web page is very slow.

I do suggest that you change your Internet browser to Mozilla Firefox. This internet browser is comparatively faster than Internet Explorer.

Download this from this link

Click this link. When a small window appear click the Save File button to daownload it. After downloading, double click this file to run and install in your computer. Make it as your default browser.

Now when you click any links from your, the links will load faster in mozilla firefox.

I get a window saying Command line option syntax error.

Hi! I think you are using internet explorer 6.0 then upgrade it to internet explorer 7.0 or later. Delete temporary internet files, History and Cookies from internet properties in control panel. If this is not the case try uninstalling and re-installing internet explorer.

And if still unsuccessful then using Mozilla Firefox web browser will certainly solve your concern.

You can download Mozilla Firefox from the following link -
