Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
First study your keyboard.
Second, look for the Fn key. It shold be at the bottom left of the keyboard.
Third, look at the function keys (F1, F2, etc.) You should find one with blue writing that says " CRT/LCD".
Fourth, start your system and wait until you think the system is powered up all the way and ready to be used. While pressing on the Fn key, press the CRT/LCD key one time. The external monitor should come on; if it doesn't, repeat once more. It takes three movements to go back to the original position. Try it, it should work. I am in the same predicament because I can't find the correct screen for my laptop. Good luck.
