Question about Pioneer DEH-P3100 CD Player
Check out this pdf file from Pioneer (it's for the DEH-3100 but the wiring colors will be the same - you can disregard the IP-bus input since your DEH-31 doesn't have one).
For the car side you can probably purchase a wiring adapter that will plug into the connector that went to your factory radio - this adapter will have wires which you connect to the same color wires on your Pioneer's wiring harness.

When in dought i've always wired two wires to an everyday 3 way 110 ac plug and plug it in. you'll know as soon as soon as you plug it in if you have the right wires. if not keep trying. sometimes it takes awhile. when your hair is standing stright up take a break for awhile then hit at it again.
