Once you have properly installed your camera drivers, DO NOT unplug the USB port as it will cause the drivers to become corrupt . Alwayw unplug them after you have shut down your computer. Like wise connect them back up before you start the computer.
Hope this is of some help. Bud

How to configure huawei hg533 router for home network

William the more information you can provide the more accurate can be our brain trust community's answer.
What I have to guess is you added the cameras to an existing network.
What you need to provide is how are the camera's getting their IP addresses ?
How are the PC getting their IP addresses.
My guess
Go into the router settings and look for DCHP server. Look at the leases issued and change the IP addresses that are assigned to the cameras to Static rather than Dynamic. if the cameras are getting IP address from DHCP. server rather than being set up manually..

If you manually set up the IP addresses on the cameras then alter the available ip range on the DHCP server to avoid the IP addresses assigned to the cameras. As an example say the DCHP range was 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254 then alter it to be 192.168.1.21 to 192.168.1.254 and then hence the ip addresses 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.20 are used on static ip addresses like printers and cameras devices.

How do you log into the router
go to the internet browser and type in 192.168.1.1 and it should bring up your router The user name is most likely admin and the password will be admin by default. If no one has changed them.
I have looked at the usre manual but it does not spell out how to change the DCHP ip address ranges leases out or the way to change the ip addresses leased out to static for the cameras. I think you will find some sort of setting in thew dhcp menu option of the router.

What
I think is happening is called an ip address conflict. And the above suggestions should stop this from occurring when you reboot the IP address is re assigned and the DCHP server could be issuing ip address leases to your p.cs that are already staticly assigned to your cameras.

Change ip address

Type cmd in Start menu-Run. A little black window will open. Type: ipconfig/all and Enter. It'll list your IP among other info.

If you want to change it: Start menu->Control Panel
Type "adapter" int the search box. You'll have "Network and sharing Center". Click "View network connections". Select "Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click Properties. There you can change your IP settings.

Lost ip address

They most likely mean serial number.
An IP address is issued by a router and can change from time to time when you connect to the router.

Not showing the network ip address. Note i changed it from 192... to 172... and now trying to go back to the 192.168... network

Set the camera to "automatically obtain an IP-address".
Connect the camera, via an Ethernet network cable, to a router.
The router will supply a valid IP-address to the camera; much simpler than trying to "manually" set an IP-address, network-mask, and gateway IP-address.

My problem is I cannot access my router to enter my dvr information to view my cameras on line

Hello,

Get to a command prompt and type 'ipconfig' - no quotes.

You will see some ip addresses listed. The gateway ip address is the ip address of your router. Put that ip address into the address bar of your web browser and it will take you to the router config page. This is where you can do port forwarding if you want to be able to view the cameras from outside your network. Post a comment if you need any more help.

Or did you just forget your router password........or is the router not responding......let me know :)

I unpluged my remote camera monitoring system and it lost its ip adress

The IP address on your camera system is probably setup using DHCP. This means that the IP address it's given will change over time. There's an easy way to find it. Log into your router, and locate an option called "DHCP Clients Table". This will list every system on your network, and one of them has to be the camera system.
If your router does not have a HDCP clients table, then you'll have to either do a network scan using something like bluesportscanner, or nmap, or to log directly into the camera system using a serial cable or something similar.
Comment back with your specific camera system model number, and I can provide more assistance.

Panasonic bl-c20 wireless network camera

Try this - unplug the power from the camera (and the ethernet cable if it is using one). Locate the 'Factory Default Reset' button on the camera get a paperclip and straighten it out. Plug the power back into the camera and press the reset button with the paperclip until you see the indicator light flash and go out (about 10 seconds). Now attach the ethernet cable to the camera and into your router and insert the Panasonic camera utility disk into your computers CD Drive. Run the setup utility from the disk and after a few minutes it should find the camera and you can follow the instructions for a new set-up. If the camera has been on more than 20 minutes when you start the setup utility, unplug it for 10 minutes and try again. Oh, and turn off Windows firewall while you are doing this.
