Question about Bose Companion 3 Computer Speakers
The unit may have gone on protect mode, after detecting the power surge as a fault.
Simply leave the power cord disconnected for thirty minutes, then test again without the surge protector. Put the protector back in place after testing.
If that does not work, then most common is that one of the capacitors in the PSU (inside subwoofer) had failed. This may happen even if a surge protector is in place.
