Advice needed - Brother "compatible" toners

Hi!

I would like to reduce my overall spending on toner for my printer, so I'm considering buying a COMPATIBLE toner cartridge. Is this okay? Do they stand up to the test? Or do they cause problems?

Thanks!

Compatibility is one of the areas where printer makers don't shine..you may find that changing your print settings goes a lot further on this.

if you need to replace the printer, i would suggest to buy compatible toner, you will save some money doing this. the technology for compatible toner has improved greatly in recent years, you should have no problem using it. i usually buy my ink toner from this website:
Brother Toners Inks Cartridges or
Amazon com Online Shopping for Electronics Apparel Computers Books DVDs... if they have something with prime. Watch this video
it might help you print with empty cartridge :)

Whole paper comes out gray from printer, like a smudggie looking page, horrible

You probably need to replace your toner, or there might be a problem with the printer itself. If toner replacement doesn't help, consider contacting Brother for a repair quote or buying a new printer.

Good luck!

Who is the best laser printer cheapest toner serive provider company?

It's much cheaper from the servicing dealer, and it's not a "compatible" fake toner... It's funny how you created this question then answered it yourself.

I have a Brother HL1240 printer. When I print I get toner stains on the left margin. Is this a cartridge problem or is it the printer itself? I guess I'm wondering if I change the toner cartridge...

in most case this kind of issues arise if your drum is not cleaned properly with the wiper. As the printer becomes old, the wiper that cleans the drum might get reduced in size...
so it has to be checked at the first.

Related t my Lexmark E232, I'm using a compatible toner but it put excess of ink in the papers. Then I bough a new original Lexmark toner, and when I put in the printer on two lights, from top the second...

Inspect the overall paper path for signs of spilled toner.Gently clean the contaminated areas with a soft cloth or compressed air.

COMPATIBLE TONER VS. OEM TONER

Compatible toner is more cheaper than original, risking quality and due to low quality of the powder you can damage your printer.
I suggest to use original toner and at the printer properties set your printer to work in save toner mode.

Toners

There are many sources for toner and toner cartridges but I used Precision Roller for years for copier and printer needs while still servicing them and, although they were often not the cheapest, I found them to be more reliable than most.
The offerings they have for your printer, compatible and original can be seen here:
