Right below the scroll button there is an eject button. Push this and slide out the cover. You will find the battery compartment. Insert 2, AAA batteries. Be careful about the polarity. It is marked. Just match the polarity. In between the 2 batteries you will find the receiver unit. Slide this one out. Insert this receiver unit into the USB port of your laptop. Close the battery compartment cover. Turn the mouse upside down. You will find an on/off (on the right side top) switch. switch it to on position. If the mouse is not detected, press the connect button below the on/off switch. Good luck.

My Dynex wireless mouse doesn't work? am I supposed to install any drivers? Im using Hp laptop dv4-1435dx with vista home premium

There is a Dynex software suite that comes on a disk with the mouse -- this suite provides the mouse's driver as well as additional functionality such as changing button properties. You can download the driver from DynexProducts.com (be sure to get the right one for your specific mouse and operating system).

I do not need new batteries and connection to computer is there but my Dynex wireless mouse works for a couple of minutes than goes off. No red lights nothing this is the second Dynex I have purchased with...

Do you have the Dynex driver installed? Also check to make sure there is not a generic mouse driver installed as well -- two drivers might create a conflict.

I HAVE A NEW NOTEBOOK AND WIRELESS MOUSE.

When you purchase the wireess mouse it should come with a USB device that plugs into a USB port and reads the mouse, all wireless mouses need a USB eye to read the mouse.

Good luck.

I havve a HP G60*230US notebook and have purchased the GE wireless mouse, I can not seem to get it to work with my laptop..

Hi,
To activate the mouse press the connect button on the receiver and look underneath the mouse for the connect button and press that.
All you have to do then is right click on the mouse to activate it.

My wireless dynex mouse freezes up and I leave it idle for about 4 hours and I have to continuously replug the plug back into my PC, what is the reason for this? My batteries are new, only a couple weeks...

Do you have another mouse driver installed as well as the Dynex driver? There could be a compatibility issue. Go into the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel and see if there is another mouse driver installed -- maybe a generic Microsoft or HP mouse driver. Uninstalling this driver may fix the issue.

You can also check the Device Manager to see if there are any resource compatibility issues (which there shouldn't be). You may have a problem with the USB port it's plugged into -- try the mouse's receiver in a different port.

Did any of these solutions work? If not, we'll try something else.
