Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer
Hi, I tried posting this last night but don't see it here (anymore?)LAT9614AAE. I'm trying to identify and repair a small puddle leak that appears, generally, after the cycles are finished. I've seen other posts, mostly for newer washers, that talk about various possibilities. But I don't know if those possibilities would be the same for may LAT. Anybody have any ideas for this leak in this model?thanks, B
It is most likely to be a slight crack in an outlet hose to or from the pump.
To identify where exactly to start looking, dry under there, then slide a big piece of cardboard under and do a wash.
Keep pulling out the card to inspect for drips.
You will then identify the area to start looking.
Turn off and unplug before pulling out the machine and tipping it back to inspect underneath with a torch.
Have an assistant handy to prevent it falling and help.
Once you identify the problem area, order a spare part before removal - as it may be a while before it arrives.
