Question about Parat 1:32 Scale Diecast Replica: 1920 Ford Model T Cargo Truck
I have a ford tractor and the hydraulics are very slow. What is the problem?
Not so fast,, yes thick hydraulic oil can cause slow hydraulics and if the hydraulics speed up when warm then this may be your problem. if they dont then you need to look at possible problems with the pump, the spool, or linkage to spool. remember that speed is flow, a pump can have good pressure but lousy flow. also there should be some kind of pressure relief valve in system if this stuck open then it will let oil go back to tank causing your problem. there is no quick answer to your problem but there are a lot of possibilities. need to do some diagnosing!

Wrong hydraulic oil. The oil could be to thick at this kind of year, so there will be a lot of resistance when flowing. If you don't have these problems in summer, it must be it.
Check the needed oil type, viscosity and viscosity index in your manual.
Thats all I can imaging.
