Question about Nikon D40x Digital Camera
Well if you already realize this I apologize, but you may not realize
that the SD slot has a built in ejector. The way you make the card
eject is to push it further into the slot, and then it pops out.
It works like a mechanical pencil.
So if that got pushed to the eject position, and you then just put the card in, put not enough to switch it out of the eject position, it could pop right back out.
So try pushing it far in and see if it clicks into place.
If you have tried this and the same thing has happened, it could be a faulty card catch that needs to be repaired. Some cards have a funny shape that just don't fit right, If you can't get the camera fixed right now, you can:
1.) put some scotch-tape around the SD Card to make it fit into the slight a little tighter.
2.) file down the end of the SD Card so its flush with the phone.
