Question about Computers & Internet
I Have a Compaq Presario F732NR Laptop w/Vista.
Recently it will not boot. The leds light and the CD Drive looks for a cd. It will not boot with or without a bootable CD. The display usually remains dark. Sometimes the display lights briefly or even less often, momentarily shows the COMPAQ name. It will continually re-cycle by turning off and back on with the same scenario.
I have swapped and removed Memory modules one at a time, Removed the Hard Drive and swapped power Bricks. Nothing changes. I've also plugged it into an external Monitor and get a ''No Signal'' message.
You have done an excellent job of diagnosing a MotherBoard fault. This is undoubtably the problem. Have you removed all/any cards attached too, like say the WiFi?
