Those wiring colors don't match any standard I have seen; I suggest you have someone measure across the leads to avoid trouble; one of the leads is likely a shield that is grounded through the wall receptacle, the other two, the inputs to the power supply inside. The all-black wire would normally be the 'hot' lead but the other two don't match anything common.

You probably should have just bought a plug adapter which would have gotten you properly connected.

The grey is the grounding conductor which ties to the long pin.

Tie the one with the stripe to the neutral (wider pin)

Tie the black to the hot narrower pin.

My Mach 1 electric scooter Is a 2 pin European plug so what fuse sicker would I need to get without them burning out 13 amp plug ok or .

It is usual practice to cut off the European plug and fit a British 13 amp plug even though adapters are available. The charger isn't likely to require much current so fitting a 3 amp fuse should be ok. If you discover the plug or the positive pin is becoming warm after some time you could increase the fuse rating to 5 amp, though I doubt it will be necessary.

My 6375s laptop needed a new battery, it also had a message saying the laptop needed a hight voltage charger, so i bought new of each, when the new battery was fitted the laptop worked i pluged in the new...

why not post what PC does, with no battery IN IT and the NEW power pack is used? this be first first.....!!
if that fails wrong pack.

only 3 possible reasons,
1: new battery is bad, (stuff happens and if china cloned x10 that)
2: wrong pack (i bet this is it, and hope so)
3; PC chips blown out (there are 2, a power reg, and charger reg)

so how do we avoid guessing?
well ,first is does it run with no battery and not stated by you yet.
the wall pack has to be 2 things to BE correct.
1: 19vdc, is it?
2: and watts, my HP elite book as 3 performances opens when new. (actually 5x3 permutations in fact)
A: faster CPU, $$$ 5 choices, the i7 is top and sucks power like mad.
B: one of 3 GPU cards inside, one sucks power like mad.

Mine has both, and needs the HP 100watt pack or WILL FAIL.
Mine is also the most fast of the model line
speed sucks power, in computers.

so learn what your HP needs. first.?
if you bought it new, then pack is correct, and states on the side of
is 19vdc and watts. so read that now, and match that.!
i bet you only guessed ,right?
if you did not buy the LT new, then you get to ask HP what you have.
ever heard of HP.com?

go there and ask,? magic happens, FACTS ! endless....
and HP has records based on Serial numbers. on yours.
this serial tells them what you got DAY 1. (we are NOT HP)

Just like a car, ordering the huge V8 sucks more fuel.
see?
I cant see under your hood so cant tell you what is there.

as you can see computers are not a toaster or desk lamp.

ask here, and JOIN.

I just bought a house that has an Intermatic ML121RT timer for the exterior lights. It seems to be operational, except that it is missing the little tabs to set the on and off times. How can I order...

I've not been able to locate replacement parts for anything Malibu except lights and complete power packs.

I don't know about making tripper pins at home. I guess a lock-picker could do the job, but that skill might be more useful if you make a key to fit your electric meter.

The new Malibu power packs are digital. They don't have the dial-type clock.
Intermatic used to make Malibu, but they are not associated with the Malibu product, which is made in China, which means we will soon see a pacific-rim knock-off that doesn't even have a website.

Computer cq60 laptop plugged on but power button does not light up nor does computer start up

It sounds like either your AC adapter is not working or that your DC jack on the motherboard is broken and needs to be resoldered or replaced. You can get an after-market power supply for less than $50 on Ebay (order it from the US, if you order from China it will takes weeks). Repairing or replacing the DC jack is not an easy feat; unless you're an experienced computer tech. Having a shop fix that can cost you upwards of $130. Check out my company Madhatter Computers. Please leave feedback and a rating vote on the info I'm provided.

How to connect a eye trek fmd 200 to my laptop

It is not possible to connect your eye-trek directly to your computer.
you need a signal-converter (vga to av).
Have a look on ebay (e.g. this one on german ebay: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=380041599591
description is english).

Only the much more expensive fmd 700 has a built-in converter.

I have traveled to Europe. Australia and China. As this is a laptop I believe your power supply is that often black box in the middle of the electric wire you plug into your laptop. I we operate on 110 volt 60 cycle electricity. The bulk of the rest of the world operates as 240 volts and mostly 50 cycles. The power supplies for laptop I used overseas indicated they operated from 110 - 240 volts and 50 to 60 cycles approximately (small print on the adapter). If your adapter does not handle 240 volt and 50 - 60 cycle requirement you may need to secure another before leaving. The real challenge is to have the right plug adapter for the country you are in. Our two and three prong plugs do not work anywhere else I've been without adapters excluding soem bathrooms for electric shavers only and some universal plugs I have seen installed in China on my last trip (but even in China they were rare). My friend bought two different versions of adapters I believe at Radio Shack - one was a small bag of adapters that covered all of Europe and more recently a single adapter with sliders that could adjust to all the separate adapters he purchased before. I had the experience of buying an adapter in China where I do not speak Mandarin -- pointing at a British adapter and drawing the US plug got me what I wanted however you may wish to solve this problem before you arrive in Europe. Assuming you purchase adapters before leaving the clerk at the store may be able to confirm the suitability of your power supply for general european operation, I tended to double check with the local hotel staff or friends keeping in mind that all counties and some areas can be different.
