SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Geting rid of the regioncode for mac

Firstly try running VLC player (free download) to play your DVDs. Apparently this can remove region protection on-the-fly. Alternatively an application called Slysoft AnyDVD will automatically remove region protection as long as it is running when you insert the DVD, although I am unsure if this is MAC compatible.
Hope this helps,

DVD rom drive cannot see anything that is put into it

First you can try this, it is amazing the things this article fixes.

If you have tried both factory DVD and CD media, if you have a cleaning CD run it.
If that fails to resolve, there is a pretty good possibility that the drive optics have failed.

My Matshita UJDA 750 DVD/CDRW wont recognize a blank DVD discs. How ever it does read both CDs and DVDs and only burns CDs.... please help

Are you trying to burn a dvd? If so from the spec you gave in the problem description your drive will burn cds(CDRW) but will only play dvds(DVD). If it stated DVDRW then you would be able to burn DVDs as in the CDRW.
