Question about Dell Latitude C610 Notebook
Bought this used a year ago on line as-is. I can see the BIOS but I cannot make any changes. I cannot get past the ADMIN bios password.
Hi, you won't be able to, Dell has put it there to stop people from messing with the bios.
You can phone Dell and they may tell you the password, but you will have to go through some security check to prove that the laptop is yours.
If you know how to take your laptop apart ( not recommended ) you can follw this guide :-
Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes should clear the bios and return to default settings.
Let me know if this has helped you.
