Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
While downloading about 1/2 the time (no matter the size of the file) the download hangs...ie itll look like its downloading but in actuallity it has completely stopped (time doesnt change on length of download etc)
try getting yourself a download manager program.
This will enable you to continue your download-or resume it if it freezes.
Search the web ro Free Download manager.
Your actual problem may be that the destination folder is full, try a disk cleanup, or empty the temp/ temporary internet files folder.
