Question about Thermador CJ302U Double Oven
Shows f53 the door on upper is locked and makes noise like it is trying to unlock. the time clock for micro will not count down. is there away to over raide to open door . as we have food in it?

The "F53" error code on your Thermador "C" series ovens indicates a upper door lock fault, makes sense since that is the issue you described.
Whether there is actually a fault with the lock remains to be seen. Here is what I`d suggest you try...
Locate the service panel for your oven ( should be an isolated 40amp breaker ) and turn it off for a few moments and turn it back on.
This will initiate the start-up sequence which activates and checks the controls and lock assembly, hopefully resetting it to the "open" position and subsequently eliminating the error code.
