We have a ge front load washer model # wm2487hrm . for about a week now after we run a wash cycle the main soap dish is completely full of clean water what could cause this thanks for any help Brady

That model is not a GE, it is an LG. 1. Dissassemble and clean out parts of the dispenser. Re-assemble. (could be not syphoning out the dispenser completely) 2. Check the screens inside the washer (esp. the cold) to see if it is plugged / restricted 3. water valve could be seeping water by.

Dish washer 3 1/2 yrs old making a growling/vibrating sound.

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Dishwasher cycles with timer, won't fill with water. Motor runs fine, drain and fill valves test fine, float switch tests fine too. Water pressure fine. I'm thinking the timer is bad and won't send a...

Remove the toekick plate on the bottom of the dishwasher.
Remove the wires from the water valve. Insert the leads from a volt meter into the water valve power wires.
Turn the washer on. After the initial pump out cycle the timer sends power to the water valve through the water level switch. If you get power to the wires, the water valve is bad or you have no water supply to the valve.
If you get no power to the wires the water level switch is bad or the wires to the switch are bad or the timer is bad.

Water not coming into dishwasher

Without knowing the model number of your GE dishwasher, but some dishwashers don't notice when the float / float switch is stuck. That could cause the dish washer to move through all the cycles but never have water flow into the dishwasher. That would be the first place I would look. But please post back here with what you find (plus the model number of your dishwasher) before ou rate me level of helpfulness, OK?

GE PDW9700 - The dishes do not get cleaned

Same as above problem: I have had this dishwasher for less than 4 years and the dishes as of about 2 years ago stopped getting cleaned. I use the recommended dish liquid and rinse and lightly clean the dishes before I put them in.
What a piece of junk!! gs

Water backs up to the dish washer from the sink .

Check the drain hose under the sink. It should have a high loop an upside down "u" like a hill the water can't climb to get from the sink to the dishwasher. That is where I'd start. Good luck.

Dish washer has no water.

Check the faucet first, turn off the faucet, disconnect the dishwasher copper hose, re-open the faucet and check you faucet see if there is water come out, sometimes there is a small stone or sand block the faucet. Good luck, hope this can help, if not we check the others.
