Most of the time that dryer drum bearing WE3X75 is the problem. You need to remove the drum to replace it.

My dryer has a loud squek when it starts and goes for about one minute and then quits. What should I do?

That is probably a roller or that crappy idler that comes in some models. You need to break it down and do a looksee. Here is a nice pictoral: KENMORE DRYER

My dryer is making a loud squeking noise once it gets warmed up. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

yes could be the pulley or the rollers on the inside you would need to be able to open the unit top cover and inspect the belt on the inside and underneath the drum if you have never taken a dryer apart before i do suggest you call a technician hope this helps

Dryer body very hot, loud squeking, soot from ball in back

I would replace the high limit control and the thermostat to be on the safe side. There is a real danger of burning the house down.
