I have a Xerox copier. First copy comes out OK. After that there is a strange squeaking sound and there are white vertical lines in my copies. Tried new toner. Didn't fix. Could it be the drum?

Sounds like a fuser problem. Also, because this is a very old model, constant heat over time can warp plastic paper path guides which will cause strange jamming. These issues hare sometimes hare to pinpoint. Why not get a new copier?

Xerox c118 copy is not centered

Enter diagnostic: press "0" then "Start", enter System settings->CE Settings->MFC->Regist, enter 102 to adjust x-axis or 101 - y-axis, adjustment range x (-24 to 127), y (-72 to 72). 24 bit = 1mm. Good luck

can you say from where the sound comes? If from left side check the drum unit and fixing unit. If from back check if all plates or main motor, or fan are ok.
If from paper tray check for any breakage, paper leftovers,...

Hope that helped

Sounds like copy cartridge is bad or old. Probably drum. If there's round symbol that's on, that's it....Drum.

Xerox xc1020

is it a printer/copier? both prints and copies off the glass come out black?
yes...probably a problem in the drum/ CRU area
No- prints OK but copies black lift the lid and watch the exposure lamp...does it light up? does it move? Both of these scenarios would usually bring up a fault code, so I would still be inclined towards the drum unit.Pull the unit out and make sure no paper has sneaked up between the drum and the exposure slot, or even into the drum unit. another cause could be a broken corotron wire (very thin wire close to the drum usually behind a grid (charge grid) If it is a customer replacement drum unit (CRU) the charge grid will be built into the unit and will require the whole thing replacing.......
