Hi..

It looks as if you need to have the drain cleaned due to your freezer leaking water issue. I've seen this issue b4 but it will be a little work to do so if you can find an experienced repairman, then let him do it bc it gets messy sometimes.. it could cost around $200 so i would definitely ask the tech guy on the phone about the drain and if you could do it.. good luck..d

Hi,

To fix the water leak u can try doing the below method.

BLOW AIR THROUGH THE DRIAN HOSE IN THE BACK OR BOTTOM OF THE FRIDGE FIND THE END OF THE DRAIN HOSE USE AIR COMPRESSOR .....

Here is another solution:

inside of freezer, take back cover out and thaw the ice with hair dryer or hot water. don't use any sharp tools. When thawed make sure water drains through defrost drain.

Goodluck..

Sounds like there is a bad thermistor (sensor) somewhere.

The temperature on my refrigerator keep going up It is now at 72 and the freezer side is at 49

If the inside of the unit measures at the same displayed temp, then you have a coolant issue = contact professional immediately.
If the temp does not match the display temp, you have a control board issue = still contact a professional.

Hello I have a GE lower freezer model # PDS22SBSARSS AND THE TEMP CONTROL is clicking and the digital readout is doing weird things by indicating wrong temperature and clicking, it stops after awhile...

Roll the refrig out and determine where the clicking noise is comming from. If it is form the small rectangular cover on back, replace the main board (WR55X10942) located under it. If the clicking is comming from the compressor area (at the very bottom, behind the cover which goes all the way across the bottom of the refrig) then replace the relay (WR07X10086) and overload (WR08X10061) located where the wires attach to the compressor, and for good measure, the capacitor (WR62X79 ). (located just to the left of the compressor)

My refrig is occasionly freezing the food in the refrig part of my side by side. We just cleaned the coils after about 4 years. Can you help

Im assuming it is a GE PSS26MSRSS???

You will need to check the temperature sensor(s) and the damper. Is the temp display showing it is colder than the selected temp (recommend 37)?? If so it is likely the damper is broken, and it is open --- letting too much air come in from the freezer and getting colder than you set it.

GE PROFILE REFRIGERATOR MOTHER BOARD PROBLEMS i REPLACED THE MOTHERBOARD AND IT STILL DOSEN'T KEEP THE PROPER TEMPERATURE. It varies from 36 to 45 degrees.

Go into the diagnostic mode on your touch display .
1) . Press any button on the display 1 time except the temp adjust buttons.
2) Press the temp up and down on both the freezer AND refrig (all 4 at the same time)
3) when 0's show , release the buttons and press any button except for the temp adjust buttons .
4) NOW , fress the temp adjust buttons until the freezer side displays 0 and the refrig side displays 7 . 0 and 7 is for the thermistors test .
5) After 0 and 7 display , press any button again except temp adjust , and this will start the thermistor check .
6) You will have 7 thermistor tests , indicated on the refrig display , starting at 1 , then 2 then .......
7) The feezer display will tell for the corresponding thermistor , indicated by the refrig display , if the thermistor p = pass , s = short , b = bad (replace board)

After determining if or which thermistor is bad , then adjust the display to 1 on freezer display and 6 on the refrig display . This ends the testing procedure and resets the refrig back to normal .

The refrigerator temp keeps returning to 65 after I set it at 34.

After you set the temp (at 34) the refrigerator display changes to show the current temp inside your refrig. (apparently it was 65) As the unit runs, this display will lower until arriving at the set temp.

Freezer always about same temp as the upper refrig section

Check those coils underneith. They are making the machine work harder IF they are dirty. They may be full of lint and cobwebs. All that needs to be removed.

Temperature 94 in refrig. normal in freezer

Check to see if refrigerator door is lower than freezer door. If so remove toe panel, (bottom front). Under refrigerator door hinge at bottom right is adjuster for door. Adjust upward so door is even. On some models when door is too low it causes light to stay on some times, raising ref. temps.
