Two CDs stuck inside Cambridge Soundworks 765i

I have Cambridge Soundworks 765i. By mistake I inserted a second CD without ejecting the first. Now none of the CDs are ejecting. Pls help me (I am an electronics engineer) with instructions on how to open up the CD compartment and take out the CDs

You have a power supply issue and that explains the dead silence. You might want to check the PS area for swollen or leaky caps, a common source of trouble.. Or a broken solid state device. Otherwise .................................Shopping?

Cambridge Soundworks 765i in good condition. CD loads and disk in readout shows, but persists. CD will not play although intermittently the thing seems to work, but not in months.

The lens on the laser diode inside the player may have too much dust built up on it. Lens cleaning CD's can be had at Walmart or many stores that sell Tv's and accessories.

There should be a small hole in the front of your CD player. Straighten out a paper clip, and poke it in that hole. That should eject the CD drawer.

Keeps rejecting any cd inserted spittinf it out

Hello
The CDs you inseting is not loading properly into the mechanism. Check its loading belt. If loading belt is loose, thie tyep of fault will occur. Check the loading motor also. If the pulling power of loading motor go less, the discs will not load properly and will ejected out as it loaded into. There is no other possiblilities other than this to check. OK.

I had a similar problem. I called campbridge soundworks and they told me to unplug the unit overnight-and then when I powered it back on to press the power on key 10 times. IT works then.

My Soundworks Radio CD 740 drive has stopped accepting CDs. Any clue as to why and what I can do?

After my post, I found that someone had had a similar problem and had solved it by unplugging the radio cd from the mains, then plugging it back in and holding down the eject button when switching back on. This reset the CD drive and all is now well.

Unplug the unit for 10 mins. Plug back in then hold the CD In button until it reads "RESET".

Can't eject cds

I had this problem, and was able to solve it by holding the unit (carefully) so that the CD slot faces the floor, then pushing the eject button. Gravity acted to eject one CD, then the other.
