I have a Sabre LCD that was apparently struck by lighting. It still turns on, but won't receive any signals from any components. & if you switch input, it just flashes a black screen with the inputs...

Nobody can predict, what might have been happend to the TV, due to lighning stroke. You TV need a through checkup. Contact any service technician. It sounds almost like the main digital board has damaged.

Free tv repair advice

http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-33199_7-57376508-221/samsung-power-defect-causes-some-tvs-to-fail-and-a-class-action-suit-follows/
...What should you do?
If your TV, Samsung or otherwise, stops working, your first step should be to call the manufacturer.
Bill did exactly that with his broken TV (without mentioning any affiliation to CNET). He made sure to mention the capacitor failure and request the free fix he'd heard about online. He was advised that if Samsung determined that the problem isn't associated with that known issue, he'd be responsible for fees.
Soon afterward a repair tech came to his house, swapped out some components and had the TV working again in about 20 minutes. Bill wasn't charged a dime.
Samsung's statement promises as much for "affected TVs," and judging from Bill's experience the company deserves some credit for responding. Samsung's spokesperson also pointed out that the Oklahoma court found Samsung's response to the issue appropriate for the situation.
If you don't receive similar treatment to Bill, your options are unfortunately limited. My first advice would be to call back a few times to get a different rep. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend calling around to local repair shops, although that might get expensive. One Florida resident cited in the CBS4 story paid $150, for example....

My HP 3272N LCD TV just stopped working. No picture no sound just the blue light. Is it worth fixing?

Most common problem with all LCDs and Plasma is Bad Capacitors on power supply board they will be swollen or vented on Top. I would call a Repair shop and ask what they charge to check it out and if they offer to subtract the check out Fee from the repair Bill . Thats what I do when sets are bought in example if check out fee is 50.00 and I tell you it will cost $125.00 to repair set and you say Fix It, then when you come to pick up set Repair bill will be $75.00
Price the cost of a New set ,compared to having set repaired.

Can not get some channels any more

Hello

This might occur due to the following

1. Your antenna/receiver is not properly connectec to the back of your television or not connected at all so check the back of your television and connect it properly

2.the channels you are getting are probably not on air at the time you checked so give it a little time and check again

3.if you are using pay per view or pay tv you might have run out of air time and your channels have been locked due to non payment.all you need to do is to go and subscribe and your channels will be on again.

You may also have enabled parental view on your tv and that is why some stations are locked so consult your tv manual to see how to disable parental view

BB return policy

Hey cometo,

The return period for most products sold through your local Best Buy™ store is 30 days, but please keep in mind that there are some exceptions. Monitors, projectors, camcorders, digital cameras, radar detectors, video games purchased as used, desktop computers and notebook computers must be brought back to your local store within 14 days of purchase in order to be returned or exchanged.

Additionally, some products are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned opened and non-defective. Those products are notebook computers, camcorders, digital cameras, projectors, radar detectors, GPS navigation devices, and all mobile (in-vehicle) video systems. For special order products however, the restocking fee is 25%.

Remember that the restocking fee is only charged when the product is returned opened and non-defective - we are unable to waive this fee if you are simply dissatisfied with your purchase.

If you are still unsure and would like further clarification of these policies, I would strongly suggest checking out our return policy FAQ by following the link I've provided below.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
