SOURCE: xbox 360 wireless steering wheel

I had this same problem and finally got it fixed. Turn on your wheel. Then turn on your console. Then hit the "connect" button on your wheel. (They dont tell you this next part anywhere) If it doesn't connect, hit the "connect" button on the front of your console! It connects instantly...

SOURCE: My xbox360 force feedback wheel

Hello, which game are you using it with? The wheel might need a small calibration, or basically the DeadZone setting should be changed so, that when the wheel is centered or very near the center, it won't register as left or right.

let me know which games your playing and I'll look into their settings.

Try plugging it in without the batteries. Also I a part that Microsoft uses is plastic so it wears out after awhile. The force feedback on my xbox wheel is not as strong as it was when new.

How to connect logitech g27 paddles to ps3

Plug the device into your console.
In a racing game, Go to options, Logitech Racing Wheels, Steering Settings. Steering type=simulation. Power-Assisted Steering=Off. Force Feedback is up to you (I use 8).

Then, exit Steering Settings and scroll right. The G25 is not listed in the options menu. Use the DFP to map the controls. Paddle shifters are L1 and R1. Buttons on wheel are L2 and R2. D-pad is same as DS3, as are the four black buttons above it. The four red buttons are (from left to right), L3, Select, Start, R3. The forward/back on the sequential shifter can also be mapped if you choose to do so. Hope this helps.

How Can i race with out the pedals?? i dnt have pedals only the streel wheel. and i wanna race with jst the wheel and using the buttons as a gas n brake

I too, am pedal-less; so here's how I do it: I assign the left paddle shifter to the brake pedal/reverse function, and the right paddle shifter to the accelerate/gas pedal function.Of course, if you are a racer who loves shifting gears with the paddles (and who doesn't?) you'll obviously have to make a choice. I, personally, have no problem with this trade-off. But here's the deal with Saitek: I used to have the R100 - which, if memory serves, did not sell with pedals - and it worked great as described above. However, because I was pretty hard on the gas, it didn't take long to break the gas paddle right off! I found the R440 wheel not long ago at Goodwill, but since it has the same plastic paddles - albeit, a bit larger and wider - I was reluctant to buy it. Although it lacked the pedals, as well as the part that secures it to the desk, it was only $9.00! Did I mention it didn't have a power supply, either? :O

Fortunately, I am able to snug it down on my desk with a pair of two-and-a-half inch "C" clamps. The power problem almost rendered it worthless, though; what with the force feedback and all. I had no idea at the time it was going to need so much juice. If I would've looked at the label.... Hey, nine bucks! Who bothers with labels! As luck would have it, I had an old Visiontek flatbed scanner, that bit the dust years ago, so I'm using the p.s. from it. 24v 18w. I am extremely careful, not to jam the right paddle the way I did with the R100. It's holding up remarkably well - and despite all it's missing stuff, it hasn't got a scratch on it and is precise as heck!

My sons wants get a Logitech GT steering wheel to use on PC games - will it work without using the pedals ? He needs hand controls only as he is in a wheelchair and doesnt have use of his legs. Thanks Liz

I'm not sure if it will function without the pedals being connected. However, Most PC games allow you to customize controls. i.e. You will be able to set gas and brake to the buttons on the wheel. So the pedals will not be nessessary. So to answer your question, yes, but it depends on the game, not the steering wheel itself.

p.s. The above only applies if we are talking about PC games. Without the pedals, You will lose two methods of input which may need to be assigned elsewhere (like a keyboard). Consoles like the PS2 will not have this option.

Hello. The right paddle on my Xbox 360 wirless racing wheel is broken. i believe it is because my dad was driving and he was shifting very hard. It now feels much simpler to compress the right paddle...

I dont have a solution for this problem, just to say that XBOX support offer no service to repair the wheel. My own wheel has suffered the same problem, and I have been advised to fix it myself. ... Thanks Microsoft...

Best bet is a whole new (well, second hand) wheel from Ebay. There were a couple of sites that made spare bearings & wheels for it but that was as far as they went I'm afraid.
