Question about Sharp XR-10X Multimedia Projector
Most likely cause of the problem is termo protection, it has to be reset. I would not recommend you to open the projector by yourself. You simply wouldn’t know what to do with it.

Testimonial: "How fabulous is that! Located the "termo cut off" and reset it ... projector works well."
The solution by satavlad was spot-on! Just unscrew the top case off, and you'll see the red button to the left of the lens. Click on it, and voila! Now I just need to figure out why it happened in the first place and to avoid it happening again.

Satavlad. . .you rock! I loosened the screws on the bottom and then took the top off. Had a little trouble with one side letting loose but after working with it, it snapped out. I wasn't applying enough pressure. . .I was scared. Pushed the red button at the front of the projector and now everything is back to normal.
