Hi,

F 06 is a fault with the motor control board
· Check wiring to motor or the wiring harness attached to the board next to the motor.
· Replace motor if necessary

I have an f6 code and the machine will not operate once it comes up

The F6 error code means that the computer on the control didnt detect that the motor reached a high speed on the spin cycle, sometimes it thinks the washer didnt spin fast enough because of a loose wire connection either on the motor or the control boards (motor &machine control) if you find that the washer did actually spin at high speed (clothes dont come out sopping wet at the end of cycle) the wire connections or the motor control board will be the potential causes of the F6 error code. Try unplugging the machine for five minutes to let the computer reset then try again. Next check the control panel wires. f6 code flashing on display Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine

We have an ASKO W6451 flashing F6. appears to jump from 1 minute to go to 20 minutes to go then flashes F6. would it be something electical?

Asko F6 error is apparently a motor fault. The motor could be jammed, open circuit , burnt out?? It may just be a broken wire or connection come off. Check "Google" and type in Asko F6 error. There is a lot of info about it.

F6 error! Machine stops working. Flashes F6 and beeps.

Hi!!
The F6 error means Drive motor tachometer error

The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.
Potential Causes
• Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor ControlUnit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU) • Check the Drive Motor • Check the MCU • Check the Wire Harness
Replace failed component.
Good Luck! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa!!

My washers is flashing f6 and it partially washes then stop

Youve got either a bad motor control, slipped belt, a bad motor, or the wires have come unconnected. If your tub is turning in the few tumbles that it does do then you can probably rule out the slipping belt.

F6 flashing and won't spin

There may be a bra wire stuch between the drums. Try to pull it out through one of the holes and keep in mind that if it is a bra wire, that it is curved and will need to be pulled out at an angle.
